The Greek Sock Inspiration

I moved down here over four years ago, and I just now unpacked the last box from the move.  In it I found the picture from my trip to Crete that was the original inspiration for my Greek socks:

That picture is about 14 years old.  Just recently I admitted that I probably won't fit into that dress again and I gave it to the Habitat for Humanity thrift shop.

I have been undertaking a major decluttering project for the past month or so and have hauled a ton of stuff out of my house.  The yarn stash is next.  I've got to get that room cleared out enough to be able to set up my sewing machine.

Good for you!  I have to admit that I am a total wuss.  I live in the middle of Bush country, so my girlfriend and I whisper when we talk about politics.  I would probably be run out of the neighborhood if I put up an Obama sign.
