The Yarn Harlot always says it so well

Someone just directed me to this recent post by the Yarn Harlot on knitters' Startitis.  The Yarn Harlot is so good at putting these things into words.  This is exactly what I am going through  these days.

I'm still working on the Greek socks, I just finished the heel.  And I am trying to work on the second Knee High to a Grasshopper glove, because I have to finish that in order to knit another pair using my gorgeous new Sanguine Gryphon Bugga! cashmere blend yarn:

Colors from top to bottom:  Canada Darner, Oak Timberworm, and Arge Moth

The colors are all named after bugs.  Beautifully colored bugs.

Bugga has 20% cashmere, which is more than is usual in these blends.  The colors are just amazing.  The first batch at The Loopy Ewe has been selling out quickly, but there is already more on order, including more of that gorgeous Oak Timberworm.  There is a picture of a sock knit from that color on Sheri's Blog (Sheri is the owner of The Loopy Ewe).

I am going to go and vote early this week.  I will be so glad when this election is over.  It is so stressful because there are such strong feelings on all sides.
