A little bit of cashmere goes a long way

One of the things that accidentally fell into my cart at The Loopy Ewe was a skein of Luxury from Creatively Dyed Yarns.  Luxury is a superwash merino with 10% nylon and 10% cashmere.  I ordered a skein in a color called "Knee High to a Grasshopper" because I was so intrigued by the complex play of colors:

The colors are truly stunning in person, and the texture is simply delicious.  That little bit of cashmere makes them just incredibly soft.

I am making a pair of fingerless gloves for those chilly January evenings down here in central Florida ...

I found the pattern on Ravelry, of course, and purchased it on etsy:  Spiraling Leaves Fingerless Gloves by Lynne Vogel.

I hope that I am going to have some business trips to Chicago this winter so that I can wear my awesome hand knit gloves!
