Progress!

When I started this top with Alchemy Bamboo, I thought that it was going to be one of those multi-year projects because I didn't think that I had the patience for all that knitting on #4 needles.  I have surprised myself!  The body is about two-thirds complete:

The picture is a really washed out version of the real thing.  The Bamboo is a bright, intense turquoise blue with lots of variation in tone.  Most of the contrasting yarns are Fiesta La Luz silk in equally intense colors.

I am making such good progress because I just love working with the colors, and I really can't wait to wear it!

      Thank you!

I am making up the pattern.  It is knit from side to side and is basically a big rectangle with a hole for the neckline.  I will add short sleeves and will need to knit into the neckline and finish the bottom (probably with crochet).

Any chance the Bamboo is Soft Turquoise? I have a TON of it if you run out. LOVE LOVE LOVE the color. So happy to see it made up....wish I had the patience to use it.

Actually, the color is Teal Tide, but I think that they are probably very similar.

      Thanks!
