Beads!


I started my wrap for the Jane Thornley Knitalong just after midnight last night:



The first section is knit in seed stitch with Berrocco Seduce and #10 cotton crochet thread strung with little amethyst and lapis chip beads:



This is my first experiment with knitting with beads that have such tiny holes that they have to be strung on a carry-along thread, and I am really pleased with the results.

It is amazing to see all of the wonderful color/yarn/bead combinations that people have put together for this knitalong.  Even if you don't have time to do the knitalong, you might want to check out the ravelry thread, the pictures are inspiring!
