Jane Thornley KAL - Prizes! -- Woolly Thoughts Pillow -- Nifty Yarn Storage
I forgot to mention that Jane Thornley is offering PRIZES for the Culture Fushion wraps that get the most votes in the "Around the World in 80 Wraps Knitalong" It starts tomorrow, so it's not too late to join in. This is the first time I have done a knitalong, and I am really enjoying watching everyone's yarns and ideas come together.
I am not supposed to be starting new projects until I get some finished, but I was sick yesterday, so I used that as an excuse to start Curves of Pursuit, which is one of the Woolly Thoughts Cushy Numbers patterns.

I am using the two new Prism yarns: Manhattan in "Autumn" and Tencel Tape in Sandwashed Solid #803.
I'm also thinking that these colors would be great in Patricia Werner's Adobe Brick Vest:

Adobe Brick Vest from Dazzling Knits by Patricia Werner.
I never wear vests, but I like this one so much that I may have to make an exception.
I recently found a really nifty craft organizer to solve some of my yarn storage issues. Since moving to Florida, I seem to have a lot of trouble keeping dust under control, so I really like to keep my yarns in sealed containers. I also don't like having to rummage deep into big bins for my fancy yarns or sock yarns. I found this cool little unit at Target:

Each of the drawers has a hinged lid that snaps closed. The drawers pull out completely, and slide quite easily (better than many of these plastic units). It's perfect for ribbons, sock yarns, and needles.
