Tilli Tomas Felted Stocking; Kid Slique Scarf

I finished my Tilli Tomas Flurries felted Christmas stocking and it actually turned out the way it was supposed to!

I was getting worried because it was GINORMOUS before it was felted, but it felted down to a normal size.  The silver beads sparkle and I bet that it will look wonderful by Christmas lights.

It is a 72 stitch basic sock with a short row heel (the link is to a really nice explanation of how to do short row heels).  I used #9 needles.  The outside part of the cuff is in garter stitch so that it won't curl.  The unfelted measurements of each segment are:

Blue section from toe to heel: 8.5"
Blue leg section: 14"
Total Cuff: 8.5" (half in stockinette, half in garter stitch)
Loop: 4 stitch I-cord

I found three skeins of this gorgeous Prism Kid Slique on ebay.  The "Captiva" colors simply glow with the shiny strand of Slique, and the wavy drop stitch shows it off beautifully:

This is the beginning of a scarf for a Christmas present.

There are some incredible lots of Alchemy and Prism yarns up for auction on ebay this weekend, including a lot of 10 skeins of Alchemy Bamboo in the Dragon colorway.  I would normally be much too selfish to share that information, but I have already blown my yarn budget for the month.
