Taos Coat Update; Stash Surprises

I have 12 squares of the Autumn in Taos Coat done:

This week I have been trying to sort through all of the stuff that I moved out of the store and organize my yarn room.  I can't believe some of the things that I found.

There are two sweaters that are almost completed.

A jacket from Sally Melville's Purl Stitch book knit from Colinette Point 5 in Sahara. The sleeves are done, and only a few rows are left to do on the last front piece:

Of course, then it still has to be put together and finished ....

I knew that I had a sideways sweater knit from Noro Iro that I had set aside because I decided that I didn't like it.  I pulled it out of the bag thinking that maybe I should just rip it out to salvadge the yarn.  I hadn't realized that the knitting was complete except for binding off (which I did as soon as I found it):

These projects are really old (from before the move to Florida), and back then I thought of finishing as a sort of superhuman task, so I guess that is why I put them away when they were so close to being done.  I'm not crazy about either of them, but I suppose that I should finish them.

I also found something that I have been looking for for quite a while, my Terracotta Cool Stuff diagonal sweater that I set aside because I couldn't make up my mind about how to do the sleeves.  The front and back pieces are done:

It looks pretty funky since it isn't really finished yet, but I think that it is going to turn out nicely.  I am going to put short sleeves on it because it is a good summerweight cardigan.

And, of course, I found all sorts of yarns that I didn't know that I had.  This box is just Prism ribbons that were buried with other things:

Many of these are old ebay purchases from long before I had the shop.  I was sort of dreading trying to organize the stash, but it's actually a lot of fun discovering all of these goodies.  I should go and play in my stash more often.
