Alchemy Yarns On Sale at Knitch; ColorJoy Patterns

Knitch has Alchemy yarns on sale!  Including Wabi-Sabi, which is a unbelieveable chunky silk/wool blend (mostly silk):

It is so difficult to find good yarns in this weight and texture for mixing into multi-yarn projects where you want bulky yarns, like pillows and throws.  They have quite a few colors still available, both the solid and the multi colors (the multis are in a different section than the solids, so you will need to look for them).  I would buy up most of their stock if I could, but I had to settle for just a few skeins.

Another discovery that I made on Ravelry: patterns by LynnH of ColorJoy!  I just love these footies:

and plan to make some out of these wonderful new Colinette Jitterbug colors:

(From top to bottom: Lobster Pinch, Elephant's Dream, Vincent's Apron)

LynnH also hosts a ColorJoy! group on Ravelry.

If you are having trouble figuring out how to sign up for Ravelry:  you have to put your email address on the waiting list.  Go to the main page, and on the bottom right hand side of the screen you will find a link to "add your name to the waiting list."
