Chesapeake Rayon Metallic; Apologies to the Illusionist Shawl pattern

Another yarn from Linda's stash that is so beautiful that I have to put it up for Yarn Show and Tell:

This is Blue Heron Rayon Metallic in their new "Chesapeake" colorway.  Linda placed a special order for it after she saw the new colorway at TNNA.

I'm a bad influence on Linda.  I marvelled at the fact that she was able to resist starting the sweater that she is going to make out of this and praised her self-restraint in continuing on with another sweater that she is re-knitting because it didn't work out the first time.  I talked to her today and she admitted that she has put the other sweater aside and has completed most of the front for this one.

I've been slogging through the Illusionist Shawl and have discovered that it's really just the increase and decrease rows that are really annoying.  The rest of it is fairly easy knitting.  I've gotten past the first "puckered" section:

It's less than two weeks until Hanks Yarn and Fiber opens it doors in Gainesville!!!  (That's Saturday, October 27).
