Colinette Sock Yarn is Here! Kokopelli Christmas Stocking

Happy Thanksgiving!  I have the luxury of blogging this morning because I am a guest today instead of a hostess.

The Colinette Jitterbug Sock Yarn arrived just in time for our Thanksgiving Weekend sale, and it is beautiful:

We now have pictures of all of the colors except for Fire, which keeps coming out too orange in the photos, and Castagna, which isn't in stock yet.  There is definitely something for everyone in this color selection.  The Copperbeech is quite dark and a very good color for men.  The Marble is stunning.  The brights (Popsicle, Mardi Gras, Jewel) are lots of fun.

Herta just finished the Christmas stocking from the Holiday 2006 issue of Knit Simple.  Our version uses Fiesta Kokopelli and is simply wonderful.  It is HUGE, big enough for lots of goodies:

It took four skeins of the Kokopelli: one each of: Juniper, Chokecherry, Cajeta, and Natural.  There is enough natural and light brown left over to make a second stocking.  Our supply of these colors is limited this week, but we will be getting more in towards the end of next week.

Herta is also making Nicki Epstein's felted wreath from the same issue of Knit Simple using a combination of Malabrigo and Kokopelli yarns.  We will post a picture as soon as it is finished.
